My Story
Kristin Lake is an experienced Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Assistant with over 20 years of experience. She has worked in various specialties including Medical Oncology, Large Animal and Equine Medicine, Mobile Veterinary Medicine, Shelter Animal Medicine, and Anesthesia. In 2014, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland with concentrations in Medical Sociology, Global Public Health, Epidemiology, and Veterinary Public Health. Kristin is the author of the book 'The Veterinary Technician’s Guide to Emergency and Critical Care', which was released in 2023. She also runs VetMedMath.com to tutor veterinary professionals in medical math. Kristin is also involved in volunteer work and hopes to begin lecturing at veterinary conventions by 2024.
