Valerie Goeman DVM MPH DACVPM 

Dr. Valerie Goeman is an Enforcement, Investigations, and Analysis Officer (EIAO) for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). She completed a BS in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2013, and earned both a DVM from Purdue University and an MPH from the University of Minnesota in 2017. Following this, she worked as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian for FSIS, inspecting poultry and red meat slaughter and processing establishments in Pennsylvania and Maine. She became an EIAO in 2022 and now performs in-depth evaluations of written food safety programs at inspected establishments that have produced adulterated products. Dr. Goeman became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine in 2022.
